S.A.S. Performance (formerly Silva Auto Sport) is an automotive performance company founded by Mario DaSilva in early 2004. Mario is a fully licenced automotive technician that completed his automotive apprenticeship training at the British Columbia Institute of Technology where he finished in the top of his class. He has also attended AEM's (Advanced Engine Management) EMS (Engine Management System) laptop engine mapping and programming course at AEM's tuning facility in Hawthorne, California. Mario has been maintaining and upgrading the performance of vehicles for over 10 years. He is the owner of a 1997 turbocharged Honda Civic Hatchback, modified for shows and driven daily with a few rock chips to prove it. He also owns a 2008 Dodge Nitro RT, tuned for optimal performance, fuel economy, and soon to be outfitted for shows.
